Training:

Case studies

Below are just a small selection of the various training projects Pepper Stark has undertaken for its clients:

We devised in an inhouse induction and sales training programme for a leading international content supplier and distributor to implement through their worldwide office network. To do this, we met with each of the sales offices and their teams to fully understand how they had currently operated internally when inducting new staff and how they had worked with ongoing training. The objective of our induction and training manual was to provide a consistent company induction for all new staff and a consistent sales and account management training programme across all offices worldwide.

Pepper Stark devised a bespoke inhouse sales and product training programme for a company whose sales had been decreasing over a two year period. The objective with the training was to turn this around, increase staff motivation and team work and bring sales back to the levels they once were. To achieve this, we conducted a full evaluation of each of the staff to be trained then put together a training programme that covered different modules on product training, telesales techniques for pro-active business development and communication and presentation skills training for client visits. The training programme lasted a week with a follow-up programme spanning three months and by the end of this period the company had hit their desired percentage sales increase and were on track to exceed the desired sales targets for that year.

Pepper Stark has devised several bespoke in-house sales training courses for press agencies and specialist niche libraries with the aim of helping to train their picture researchers in the sales process, telesales techniques to help train them to become more pro-active in their sales approach and confident in their client dealings, particularly with awkward questions or client complaints. Feedback from these courses has shown the increased confidence, motivation and pro-activity of the picture researchers / sales people gained from this training has helped the companies hold firm on pricing, bring in new clients and generally increase revenues and market share.
