Job description
This is a key new business role for a global supplier of digital content (stills and video) to corporate, advertising and media clients. The corporate headquarters in in the US and the UK operation was established over 18 months ago in the and has grown rapidly with a small sales team since then.
Now they are looking to expand their team and bring on board a Sales Executive who is experienced in both new business development and account management to take their business to the next level of growth.
The Sales Executive and will be instrumental in growing the company's revenue share and brand awareness within the UK market. The commission earning potential is uncapped and there is great potential for career growth as the business expands.
We are looking for someone with several years sales experience with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding targets. Knowledge of the stock photography / and or stock footage industry is desirable but crucial is an interest in that sector and a desire to grow and develop a career in this industry.
The role will be to build up a client sector, as agreed with the Sales Manager. To be successful in this role, a good knowledge of at least one of the advertising, corporate, broadcast, publishing or design sectors would be required as well as a proven track record in nurturing client accounts and negotiating pricing deals.
Thorough product and sector training will be provided. The role will then be quite an autonomous role, with a focus on acquiring and developing new business contacts and transforming them into key accounts. The role will require someone well organised and able to spin many plates at once. Strong rapport building skills, good presentation skills, perseverance and a results driven approach are needed. You will be expected to make high volumes of new business calls to clients and to make frequent client visits in order to achieve KPIs and sales targets. The role will also involve working on online sales and marketing initiatives to attract new clients and bring and develop new business relationships with picture buyers.
The Sales Executive will report directly to the UK Sales Manager with UK travel required to meet clients and attend exhibitions and trade shows.
