Job description
On behalf of our client, a very established niche agency in Central London we are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual who is maintaining ongoing customer relations with existing clients to maximize their potential business, but also needs to develop new revenue avenues.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for delivering on monthly sales targets.
· Receives inbound and makes outbound telephone sales calls to existing, lapsed and new clients.
· Develop relationships with key target clients in designated client area.
· Increase sales, including increasing average sale, average number of images per sale, and average price per image/clip.
· Respond to research requests and work with the picture researchers to fulfil requests speedily.
· Ensure efficient delivery of the image/clips consignment.
· Responsible for covering other members of the sales team’s work in the case of absences, client meetings or as workload requires.
· Responsible for giving guidance to team members relative to customer requirements, sharing information on competition and trends in the marketplace through research into your sector.
· Regularly look through new image/clips to become familiar with the latest additions to library’s collection.
· Responsible for working with sales manager to identify target clients for sales development.
· Responsible for providing our clients with creative service and solutions/problem-solving to meet their business needs.
Essential requirements & experience:
· Proven interpersonal & client contact skills
· Prospecting and negotiation skills
· Proven consistent results meeting or exceeding sales targets required
· Strong customer service skills, and adaptability to clients’ styles
· Ability to be agile, focused, and to make smart decisions in a rapidly changing, deadline-oriented environment.
· Demonstrated ability to create and give successful presentations
· Experience of negotiating strategic and large volume sales
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) and able to use computer databases, internet etc
· Previous account management experience
· Highly motivated, results-driven individual.
· Capable of withstanding pressure due to heavy workload
· Must be diplomatic in dealings with clients and other members of staff
· Must have the ability to prioritise and be well-organised
· Degree or equivalent
· Able to work within a departmental rota, which starts at 9am and ends at 6pm.
